Vadio

Bairrada

Vadio, located in Poutena's Bairrada region, was founded in 2005 by winemaker Luís Patrão with a focus on reviving traditional local grapes and producing authentic DOC Bairrada wines. Using three small vineyards and an old warehouse as a winery, Vadio creates wines that reflect the region's classical taste and character.

Bairrada, near Portugal's central coast, enjoys a unique Atlantic climate and clay-limestone soils, influencing its acclaimed reds from the Baga grape, fresh whites, and distinctive sparklings among its 7,000 hectares of vineyards.
