Galactic Wines is a low-intervention wine venture led by the dynamic duo, Miguel & Leli Viseu. Nestled in Portugal's northernmost winemaking region, the Minho, Galactic is an offshoot of their winemaking journey. Miguel, the head winemaker at the renowned Aphros estate, garnered global wisdom from wineries in Napa, Burgundy, Tuscany, Cahors, and Brazil. Galactic focuses on exploring the potential of Minho's typical grapes, Loureiro & Trajadura.
Their small-scale operation allows them to unveil the nuances of these grapes with precision, seeking the extraordinary within the familiar. The result? A galactic experience: 100% Loureiro, organic conversion, wild yeast fermentation, and a medium-bodied profile with ripe tropical fruits and a saline finish.
